Join us for a full day of immersive music and instruction at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Knoxville. This event is designed specifically for hammered dulcimer players looking to refine their skills through a series of focused workshops, culminating in a live concert.

Cost: $60.00 (Includes all workshops, , and the concert)
Lunch: Bring a sack lunch
Dinner: Donations accepted for pizza, salad and dessert
What’s Included
Your registration provides full access to the day's programming, including:
Four Instruction Sessions: Each workshop is 1 hour and 15 minutes long, providing ample time to dive deep into technique and repertoire.
Live Concert: A performance by National Champion Matthew Dickerson.
Schedule Overview
Our schedule for HD is as follows:
9:00-9:30 Registration, set up HD, and Welcome
9:30-10:45 Workshop #1
11:00-12:15 Workshop #2
12:15-1:00 Sack lunch break (bring your own)
Mountain Dulcimers will be joining. Their setup will take place in another room.
1:00-2:15. Workshop #3
2:30-3:45 Workshop #4
3:45-4:45 Pizza & dessert. All instruments move into Nave.
4:45-5:30 All inclusive jam
5:30-6:00 Concert
6:00-7:00 Dismissal, clean up
MD schedule (no registration, no fee)
12:15-1:00 Arrival, Sack lunch, & social
1:00-2:15. New tunes to learn
2:30-3:45 More new tunes & jamming
3:45-4:45 Dinner & Dessert
4:45-5:30 All inclusive jamming
5:30-6:00 Concert
6:00 Departure & Clean up.
Registration & Attendance
Please complete your registration through this page to secure your spot. We are expecting a vibrant group of players from across Tennessee and the surrounding regions (Chattanooga, Asheville, and the Tri-Cities).
Note on Instrument: These instructional sessions are strictly for the hammered dulcimer. While our friends in the mountain dulcimer community will join us for lunch and the evening concert, the four daytime workshops are dedicated to hammered dulcimer instruction.
